With a little "cuckoo" hidden here and there, this piece suits a Guitar Ensemble in which the top line players are starting to explore up the neck. It has excursions into the ninth position, and a modulation from E to F and back, touching at the very edges of normal guitar keys. It is ideal when some players are a little more advanced than others, as the more experienced can have the higher positions and the off-the-beat rhythm, and the less experienced can share in the interlocking rhythms and clean sound.
